If you’re from or have ever spent time in the South, you’ll know the excitement we experienced upon returning home one day last week to find a box of bottled Cheerwine!
Cheerwine is the burgundy-red soft drink, created in 1917 in North Carolina, and currently has limited distribution, centering in the South. It’s like Cherry Coke, but much, much better (and sweetened with actual cane sugar).
Jeremy introduced Cheerwine to me on our trip South Carolina this summer. I fell in love. Knowing that we wanted to turn into into ‘scream, he went ahead and surprised me by ordering us a whole case. Amazing dude, amazing drink!

It’s now installation two of our ‘Screams of the South series.
