flavor of the month 2: Pop Tartsfresh apricot ice cream with homemade pop tarts  Per the recommendation of our pals at Red Jacket Orchards, apricot was the ripest, freshest fruit available this month. So we whipped up a creamy roasted apricot ice cream, and paired it with the delicious blueberry homemade pop tarts from Pies N Thighs for our second flavor offering for August. Ahh  - so good! Here are the nectarines.. so fresh!
