goodsie: Goodsie-powered store of the day: MilkMade. MilkMade Ice Cream is a membership-based ice cream company that hand-delivers fresh, homemade ice cream to New York City residents. Each month, members choose from a menu of two handcrafted flavors made with high quality, locally-sourced ingredients. MilkMade’s sweet treats have received press from the likes of Time Out New York, T Magazine, CoolHunting and, most recently, UrbanDaddy, which touts the Valentine’s Day Ice Cream Gram deal, on now in their Goodsie-powered store. Each Gram includes a pint of the company’s tasty ice cream and a handwritten, personalized card, hand-delivered to your Valentine. Flavors include Black Hearts Party, That’s Amore’tto, Red Velvet Cake and the renown Salted Caramel. Ice Cream Grams are $15 each. MilkMade three-month memberships are $50. Now that the dust has settled from V-Day, we have to say that these Goodsie guys are just plain awesome. When we launched our Valentine’s Ice Cream Grams, the signup and payment system we had up were a bit confusing. We’re still pretty grassroots, so we have to make due with the order forms (GForms) and payment systems (Paypal) that we have available. You know how it goes. I lamented over the issues to a friend who suggested that we check out Goodsie.com and also put me in contact with Jonathan, the founder. They. were. awesome. Within a few hours we had our shop up and running, and they even went a step further to design it to match our style. Things were MUCH smoother, and prettier, and just better. Thanks Goodsie team! When we get our ice cream shipping under control, you’re first on the list.
