This week I attended an Evening with Agriculture 2.0, hosted by NewSeed Advisors, our friends at Goodeater.org, and others. It gathered food entrepreneurs, farm owners, investors, food bloggers, you name it - anyone involved in sustainable agriculture in New York. It was a great event.. exactly where I wanted to be.
Ian Cheney, the filmmaker behind King Corn (awesome doc - a must see), gave a few words about his new project The Truck Farm, where he plants a vegetable and herb garden in the bed of his grandfather’s old 1986 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Maybe we can talk them into being our herb supplier this summer!
