Done and done! It was great to meet our East Village members. Our first week of production and delivery went well. Here are some highlights..
Too much sugar: When manipulating our recipe, we factored teaspoons as cups, and therefore bought and lugged around about 50 extra pounds of sugar.
Rain: It rained the entire first night of delivery. Just our luck.
Lost in Stuy town: That goes without saying though, right?
Dog attacks: We got attacked by our second (friendly) dog. Good thing we love them.
No shows: Only one though. Nbd.
Bruises: We must get a softer cooler that does not hurt us when we walk with it.
Mode of transport: Though fun and good exercise, running around town is not the most efficient way to get our ‘scream to your door. We’ll be making amends to our operating model soon.
Friends: We have many new ice cream enthusiast friends!
